Blessing A. Durodola hails from Osun State. She badged her bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Wood Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State Nigeria. She is currently enrolled as a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst – German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholar at the University of Göttingen in the department of Tropical and International Forestry. She has a major interest in Genetic Modification of Tropical Trees and the sustainable management of the forests

She is currently the Secretary of Nigerian Scholars in Germany (NISIG), Göttingen Chapter. She has facilitated and volunteered in various capacities in her department and conferences like Global Landscape Forum (GLF), Bonn admist others. She has also lectured at the College of Agriculture, Bauchi State, Nigeria.

She loves wildlife exploration, adventures, music, socializing, volunteering, reaching out to people in any way she can.
