On the 20th of June, 2018 the Nigerian scholars at the Georg-August Universität commonly known as The University of Göttingen represented Nigeria as a country in the Global Village Event organised by the FOYER International which is a part of the International office of the university.

Nigerians which are known to be always lively and happy actively demonstrated this at the event by dressing in different cultural attires, prepared different dishes ranging from jollof rice to fried rice, porridge, beans, grieß (which served as a substitute for our conventional swallow meals) with egusi, and pepper soup among others. The varieties of food was widely accepted by people from different continents as it was eaten up by people very early and on a lighter mood our jollof rice was said to be better that the Ghanaian Jollof.

Finally, Nigerians entertained the participants with dance which wowed the audience and so many people from different countries joined on the stage and danced to the Nigerian music.
