On Saturday, 2nd June 2018, members of the NiSIG Hamburg Chapter paid a visit to Hanseatic Help Hamburg – a volunteer-based association which focuses on offering support to refugees and homeless.

Established in 2015, Hanseatic Help supplies clothing items to over 150 facilities for the needy in Hamburg, other states in Germany and in crisis regions such as Syria, Iraq, Greece, Sicily, and Haiti.

Led by the President, Taiwo Fagbemigun and the Secretary, A. Omatsone, members of the group made donations of clothes and shoes, to the organization.

The staff of the organization warmly welcomed the group and gave a tour of their facilities, while taking time to highlight the history, mission, and inspiration behind Hanseatic Help Hamburg.

As part of the visit, the Hamburg Chapter members spent a few hours volunteering by packing clothes for distribution.

The hosts expressed their delight and appreciation for the visit, emphasized their readiness and desire to partner with NiSIG Hamburg on any future project that will be beneficiary to the needy.
