The 2017/2018 Executive Board has appointed members to the NiSIG constitutional review committee.
The 2016/2017 NiSIG administration initiated a constitutional review; the current NiSIG Executive Board has continued the task in order to ensure the constitution reflects the organizations objectives, operations, activities and rights as members. To that effect, a constitutional review committee has been created. Members are encouraged to send in their suggestions which will be reviewed by members of the committee and reported back to the Executive Board.
About the committee
A five person committee has been formed, with members appointed by the Executive Board, to review the present constitution in line with the suggestions presented by the organizations members.
The committee is expected to give a report to the current Executive Board six weeks from this publication, citing suggestions from members, a formal procedure for proposing amendments and subsequent ratifications.

To incorporate the various suggestions of each member of NiSIG, in the constitutional review, the Executive Board created an avenue for interested members to communicate their ideas.
An email account has been created and members are advised to send all suggestions within a two week frame (starting 30.03.2018) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Suggestions submitted/made after the deadline will not be considered.
